About ClosingCosts4U

José Rivera

Founder of ClosingCosts4U | Mortgage Professional | Licensed Real Estate Agent | Home Inspection Expert

For more than a decade, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals and families navigate one of the most important financial decisions they will ever make: buying a home.

My journey in real estate and mortgage lending has allowed me to experience the homebuying process from multiple perspectives. I have worked as a mortgage broker, currently serve as a licensed real estate professional, and have spent over ten years conducting home inspections and assisting buyers in understanding the true costs, risks, and opportunities involved in purchasing a property.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of helping countless individuals and families achieve their dream of homeownership. However, my passion for educating homebuyers did not come solely from professional experience, it came from personal experience.

Like many first-time buyers, I faced significant challenges and costly mistakes when purchasing my first few properties. I quickly learned that one of the biggest obstacles homebuyers face is not necessarily affordability, but rather a lack of access to clear, trustworthy, and practical information. Questions about closing costs, lender fees, inspections, title insurance, escrow accounts, and the overall closing process often remain unanswered until buyers are already deeply committed to the transaction.

That experience inspired me to create: ClosingCosts4U

My goal is simple: to provide homebuyers with a reliable, transparent, and educational resource where they can confidently understand every aspect of the homebuying process from the moment they begin searching for a property to the day they sit at the closing table.

At ClosingCosts4U, we believe that informed buyers make better financial decisions. Every calculator, guide, article, and educational resource on this website is designed to help consumers understand the real costs of buying a home, avoid unnecessary surprises, and approach the closing process with confidence.

Whether you are purchasing your first home, investing in real estate, refinancing, or simply trying to better understand closing costs, my mission is to provide you with the tools, education, and transparency I wish I had when I started my own homeownership journey.

Thank you for trusting ClosingCosts4U to be part of your path to homeownership.

This experience has provided valuable insight into the challenges and financial decisions consumers face during real estate transactions.

Home Inspection Experience

For more than ten years, I have worked in residential property inspections, helping buyers better understand property conditions, repair considerations, maintenance requirements, and potential risks associated with homeownership. Why ClosingCosts4U Was Created

After years of working with homebuyers, property owners, and real estate transactions, I recognized that many consumers lacked access to a single, trustworthy source that explained the true costs of buying a home. Questions regarding closing costs, lender fees, title insurance, escrow accounts, prepaid expenses, inspections, and settlement costs often remain confusing and fragmented across multiple sources.

ClosingCosts4U was created to provide transparent, educational, and practical information that helps consumers understand every stage of the homebuying process and make informed financial decisions with confidence.
